Trinity Foster Family Services of the Bay Area is continuing our mission in looking for responsible, nurturing, dedicated, loving couples or individuals to foster children in their homes. We recruit, train, prepare and certify Resource Families to provide a safe and supportive environment for foster dependents we receive into care. The eventual hope is to reunify with their family, and if not, achieve permanency through relative placement, guardianship, or adoption. However, while in our care, we aim for our children not to just survive but thrive.
In order to meet our mission, Trinity Foster Family Services of the Bay Area must create a Strategic Plan. For our persons served, resource parents and stakeholders, we are sharing a summary of our 2023 Strategic Plan which is a continued extension of 2022 Plan.
- Maintaining safety polices and providing direct support to our persons served and resource families.
- Continued transparency and communication with stakeholders.
- Maintaining Budget and fiduciary responsibilities.
- Seeking more grants to broaden opportunities of support to persons served and resource families.
- Continued adherence to Community Care Licensing and CARF Standards.
- Providing different opportunities of training for resource families and personnel
- Strengthening recruitment program to develop more homes to allow person served to remain in City of origin, more placement opportunities for adolescents and develop a more diverse group of resource homes.
- Diversify our Board
- Focus on persons served in strengthening mission of program
Many of our goals are successfully being met, and the ones such as recruitment goals, diversifying the Board and grants that have not been met, we are strengthening action steps to meet goal.
